Melissa Beck, MSW, SWC
Therapist

Hello,

Hello, my name is Melissa, and I am a therapist dedicated to providing a supportive, non-judgmental, and empowering space where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My approach is client-centered, which means I prioritize your unique perspective and needs in our work together. My goal is to ensure that each person I work with feels heard, respected, and understood. I began my career in community mental health, where I supported veterans in navigating complex mental health challenges and life transitions. This experience deepened my commitment to the field and inspired me to further my education and
clinical training. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where I gained a strong foundation in various therapeutic approaches. I am particularly drawn to Psychodynamic Therapy and Psychoanalysis, which focus on understanding how unconscious thoughts and past experiences shape current behaviors and emotional patterns. Additionally, I have a growing interest in Attachment-Based Therapy, which explores the impact of early relationships and attachment styles on a person’s emotional and relational well-being. In my work, I walk alongside clients with empathy, curiosity, and a deep commitment to their
personal growth. I am looking forward to connecting and seeing if we’re a good match to work together.
