Bridget Ojera, LPC
I believe that life is full of opportunities and every individual has the potential and deserves to live the happiest and healthiest life possible. Unfortunately, most of us have experienced situations or people that have told us otherwise. I want to be that person that guides individuals to believe that they deserve and are capable of better. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to help individuals heal from events that have left them hurt and wounded. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to give individuals the skills to change their negative and unhelpful thoughts about themselves, situations, and others. I use IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help individuals get in touch with themselves and learn to accept all parts of them the good, bad, ugly, and brilliant. With my genuine and authentic approach I am able to help individuals feel safe enough to explore all aspects of them and to make positive changes where they see fit. I am passionate about working with adolescents, teens, young adults, and families, and have experience facilitating groups for teens addressing anger management, self-esteem, empowerment, and anxiety.
