Mary Cole, BSW
Mary is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work with a clinical focus at the Catholic University of America. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of Denver. Mary has spent the Fall of 2020 and Winter of 2021 co-leading support group sessions and providing local resources and referrals to clients at the Catholic Charities Kinship Caregiver Program.
Mary is passionate about helping individuals who have experienced any form of trauma and/or are struggling with anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and self-esteem difficulties. Mary is particularly interested in working with children and the young adult population, to help them manage life stressors and social difficulties.
Mary has knowledge of a variety of treatment modalities, in particular her practice includes trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based psychotherapy, play therapy, solution-focused and mindfulness-based approaches. Mary is dedicated to working collaboratively with clients to help them reach their goals and bring about meaningful change towards a happier and healthier life.
